I emailed the client to present some style tiles for the project. They informed me that they wanted more diversity in the pictures.

Week 1 - Recap
Throughout the week, I searched the web for usable images that the group could use in making collateral material. It was a tougher search than I had initially thought and only found a handful of images that are large enough to be usable.
I contacted the client on Saturday and the President of the organization, David, informed me that he would like to add a few more collateral pieces, which is actually good because the initial list of collateral was a little short and I was unsure if it would be enough work to span the entire quarter.
My other task for the week was to continue working on the brochure for the client. I have a very rough layout for the brochure which can be seen below:
10/12/2016 - I will be working on a style guide and a more comprehensive schedule.

Design Team: Production - Week 1
By the end of the Pre-Production class, the team had compiled enough work to show our client. I met with the client, the Senior and Disabled Fund of San Bernardino County, on Monday October 3, 2016 and received positive feedback so far, with little critiques.
One of the main concerns of the client was that our designs be a little more fitted to the demographic and cited color-blind individuals as a significant portion of their organization. Minor things were noted as well such as font size and overall color scheme.
Response to a new logo was positive but they would still like to see an updated version of the old logo. Our client was also open to branching out to social media as a means of free marketing and a way of reaching more disabled clientele.
I have found some articles for designing for the elderly and the colorblind:
